The Phenomenon of World Government (Part 1)

“In the next century, nations as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority. National sovereignty wasn’t such a great idea after all.”

Strobe Talbot, President Clinton’s Deputy Secretary of State, as quoted in Time, July 20th, l992.

Secret Society members happen to occupy many prominent positions in government, often leaving a post at a corporation that has a direct influence on the agency they are recruited to oversee.

There is an ever present aristocracy in Washington making the decisions that are often made in favor of a major corporation’s interests at the expense of the rights of the people.

Government politics has become theater to the masses. There is a cognitive dissonance in matters concerning the power structure. It is apparent that each president carries out the same agenda of war and exploitation of third world countries by creating a strategy of tension with the civilian populations, and by placing puppet dictators who are willingly to comply with the hegemonic needs of the technocrats.

There are organizations such as the Council on Foreign Relations, who can be attributed to influencing key policy decisions in Washington. Many presidential appointments are Wall Street executives, CFR, Trilateral Commission, and Bilderburg members. Dick Cheney the former vice president under George W. Bush joked about purposely not mentioning his CFR membership because of negative association with it.

The Council on Foreign Relations has intimated their desire to merge all three countries, Canada, the United States, and Mexico into a ‘North American Community’.  Their goal has been to destroy sovereignty by blurring the borders with ‘free trade’ innovations like NAFTA, the same strategy that was applied in the European countries. The CFR’s magazine, Foreign Affairs proposed starting a ‘North American Investment Fund’ to manipulate taxpayer money, and creating a ‘Center for North American Studies’ to assimilate the three cultures together so the people consider themselves ‘North Americans’.

The Trilateral Commission, similar to the Council on Foreign Relations, is the lesser known equally powerful organization which has many of the same people who are members of the Council on Foreign Relations. Its mission statement is to maintain cooperative relations with the United States, Europe, and Asia.

A well-known group, but often neglected organization by the corporate mainstream media in the United States is the Bilderburg Group. They have been meeting since 1954. It started as a way for heads of state and representatives of finance, industry, labor, education, and the media to meet together to discuss world events; there are also many CFR and Trilateral members who attend. Membership and meetings are secret, they typically meet in a five star hotel with a perimeter of armed guards around the property. There is often a mainstream media blackout when the Bilderburg club meets. Alternative media coverage is also stifled quite aggressively when there are attempts to cover the group’s annual meetings; reporters are harassed by mysterious men in black if they get too close.

Government officials, corporate heads, and royalty all attend the meetings violating The Logan Act, a US federal law which prohibits officials from discussing changes in foreign policy without authorization from the executive branch of the US government; It was formed in 1799 to prevent others for speaking for the government and possibly exacerbating a situation where tensions between countries were high.

The real nature of governments is misunderstood. The rising phenomenon of ‘globalization’ is being sold as a factor of ‘economic progress’ or ‘global community’ which will be associated with a symbol of peace. This global governance paradigm influences the massive corruption because it encourages the state to operate above the law for the greater good.

John P. Holdren, the US Science Czar suggests the creation of a world government to manage environmental and eugenics policies in his book ‘Ecoscience’:

“Perhaps those agencies, combined with UNEP and the United Nations population agencies, might eventually be developed into a Planetary Regime—sort of an international superagency for population, resources, and environment. Such a comprehensive Planetary Regime could control the development, administration, conservation, and distribution of all natural resources, renewable or nonrenewable, at least insofar as international implications exist. Thus the Regime could have the power to control pollution not only in the atmosphere and oceans, but also in such freshwater bodies as rivers and lakes that cross international boundaries or that discharge into the oceans. The Regime might also be a logical central agency for regulating all international trade, perhaps including assistance from DCs to LDCs, and including all food on the international market.

The Planetary Regime might be given responsibility for determining the optimum population for the world and for each region and for arbitrating various countries’ shares within their regional limits. Control of population size might remain the responsibility of each government, but the Regime would have some power to enforce the agreed limits.”

He also suggests martial law may be necessary:

“If this could be accomplished, security might be provided by an armed international organization, a global analogue of a police force. Many people have recognized this as a goal, but the way to reach it remains obscure in a world where factionalism seems, if anything, to be increasing. The first step necessarily involves partial surrender of sovereignty to an international organization.”

The phenomenon of trans-nationalist elites who influence governments has already been well documented by the professor and historian Carroll Quigley. Here is a brief passage from his famous historical treatise:

“…[T]he powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole this system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert by secret agreements arrived at in frequent private meetings and conferences. The apex of the system was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basle, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled bythe world’s central banks which were themselves private corporations . . .”

This slow and subtle process of implementing a form of global government, or a ‘’New World Order” will be an administrative process constructed through various international ‘’free trade’’ treaties, which can be readily observed through the covert creation of the North American Union through the TPP and other sovereignty-crushing initiatives.

Academics have been consistently out-spoken  about a secret elite’s nefarious plot to control the population. In the past prominent scholars, and politicians like Carroll Quigley, John F Kennedy, Barry Goldwater, Dwight D Eisenhower, and contemporaneously Ron Paul have warned of clandestine operations by the military-industrial complex to destroy the liberties of citizens and undermine the sovereign nation state. The Bill of Rights and Constitution will be sold as ‘out-of-date’ and oppressive, it will be claimed they are in serious need of reform.

Felix Frankfurter, Justice of the Supreme Court (1939-1962), said:

“The real rulers in Washington are invisible and exercise power from behind the scenes.”

In a famous letter to a colleague dated November 21, 1933, President Franklin Roosevelt wrote:

“The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the large centers has owned the government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson.”

In history there are numerous allusions to ‘the shadow government’, in one case on February 23, 1954 Senator William Jenner referenced this phenomenon:

“Outwardly we have a Constitutional government. We have operating within our government and political system, another body representing another form of government, a bureaucratic elite which believes our Constitution is outmoded.”

There were many efforts to install a central bank in the United States, the most recent success being the Federal Reserve, but between 1816 and 1836 one of the attempts to create a central bank caused Andrew Jackson to write:

“The bold effort the present bank had made to control the government, the distress it had wantonly produced…are but premonitions of the fate that awaits the American people should they be deluded into a perpetuation of this institution or the establishment of another like it.”
